We're bike mechanics, not battery wizards. Here's the clear line.

What e-bikers really ask.
Minimal (CHF 179) is the safety check — we adjust but don't replace anything. Normal (CHF 199) is the thorough annual service. Full (CHF 269) is the complete overhaul — brake pads replaced, hydraulics bled, wheels trued, test ride. Rule of thumb: Minimal every 6 months, Full 1× per year.
First CHF 85 diagnostic. We read the error, explain what triggers it, give a recommendation. If repair is possible with us, the CHF 85 counts towards the service price.
No. We stay legal. E-bike tuning is illegal in Switzerland (Road Traffic Act Art. 95). Insurance is voided immediately, and in case of accident there's personal liability.
Sure, that's the point. Complete service outside your door or in the courtyard. We need ~3m² of space and ideally a power outlet.
We cannot open the battery. But: we can read the error code, clean the charging port, check cables and connectors — sometimes it's not the battery.
On warranty parts we don't touch the original components. But: we can do the mechanical work around them — that's 90% of maintenance. Warranty items go directly to the dealer.
Fixed prices instead of hourly rates: diagnostics CHF 85 (credited towards a follow-up service), E-Bike Minimal CHF 179, Normal CHF 199, Full CHF 269. Individual repairs like brakes, gears or tires per our transparent price list — clear before we start, mobile at your door.
We don't open batteries or swap cells for safety reasons — that belongs to the manufacturer. What we do: read the error code (CHF 85), clean charging contacts, check cables and connectors. Very often the range loss isn't the battery at all. If it is, we'll honestly point you to the manufacturer route.
